Kelly Jenness has a passion for seeing people set free from past hurts, traumas and anything holding them back from a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

Born and raised in Oregon, Kelly has spent most of his life in the Pacific Northwest. He and his wife Gretchen were married in 1979 (go ahead and do the math), have four grown children and six grandchildren. They are pillars in their local church and community.

After completing bible school, Kelly had a career in business for nearly 30 years but transitioned to pastoring in 2008 when he was brought on staff at Life Bible Church in Harrisburg, Oregon.

Kelly became a Christian as a teenager and has spent his life serving the body of Christ as both a volunteer and an associate pastor. He believes in the local church and thinks it should be a place of encounter. While pastoring, Kelly found a common denominator with people who couldn’t seem to find solid ground in the Lord - they needed a deep and personal encounter with God.

Through meeting with people and seeing the need, God birthed in Kelly the idea of a Holy Spirit weekend. A time to slow down and take the space needed to hear from God personally. An intimate, individual, one-on-one time with God.

In his free time, you’ll find Kelly with a fishing pole in his hand, enjoying the solitude of nature at the nearest river. Good thing Oregon is thick with opportunities to do just that!
